Keep gambling separate from essential money
Do not use gambling to earn an income or solve money problems. Keep rent, food, bills and savings separate from any money you might spend playing. Never borrow or sell belongings to fund gambling. If losing the amount would affect your day-to-day life, do not spend it on play.
Set time and spending boundaries
Decide your spending limit and stopping time before you start. Keep track von both, take breaks away from the screen and stop when you reach either boundary. Losing does not make a win due: do not increase your stakes or deposit again to win back a loss. Limits can reduce exposure, but no limit makes gambling risk-free.
Use your Cardium deposit limit
Open Account → Playing limits, enter your daily USD deposit limit and save preferences. It applies to a rolling 24-hour period, not a midnight reset. New accounts default to $10,000; this is a technical maximum, not a recommended budget. Existing personal limits are retained. Completed and pending deposits, including unresolved expired quotes, can count toward the limit.
Understand what the controls do
Set the deposit limit to $0 to prevent new deposit requests after saving. This does not cancel existing quotes, reverse transfers already sent, block use of an existing balance or close your account. The website saves a session-reminder preference; it does not currently provide an automatic session timer or forced break. Use a separate timer rather than relying on that preference.
Notice the warning signs
Pause and seek support if you spend more than intended, chase losses, borrow to play, feel anxious or guilty about gambling, or find it affecting relationships, work or household finances. You do not need a diagnosis or a particular level of debt to ask for help. The NHS resource below explains signs of gambling-related harm and available support.
Take a break and ask about restrictions
Stop playing and avoid further transfers if you are worried. Contact Cardium support using the Responsible play category to discuss an account restriction or closure request. Sending a support message is not an immediate block, and this website does not currently offer an automated time-out or self-exclusion control. Ask for written confirmation of any action and its scope; do not open another account to bypass a restriction.
Add protection outside the website
Ask your bank whether it offers gambling-payment blocks, and consider device-level gambling-blocking tools. Availability and coverage vary. A bank's gambling block should not be assumed to block a crypto wallet transfer. If your country offers a self-exclusion scheme, check which operators it covers directly with the scheme. Adults only and shared-device safety
Participation is for adults aged at least 18, or a higher minimum age where applicable, and only where lawful. Do not let a minor use your account. Sign out on shared devices, protect your device and account credentials, and keep payment access away from children.
