How can I recognise a suspicious account message?

Treat requests for your password, recovery link or crypto keys as suspicious. Check where a message sends you before entering account information.

Step by step

  1. Open Cardium directly instead of following an unexpected link.
  2. Check the exact site address before signing in.
  3. Do not share passwords, session cookies or wallet seed phrases.
  4. If you entered credentials on a suspicious page, reset your password and secure your email.

Report the relevant details

Include the sender, time and a description of the message in a support request. Remove active reset or verification tokens before quoting it. An organisation’s logo, a familiar display name or a promise of faster withdrawals is not proof that a message comes from Cardium.
